Bosco
Male
Adult, Chocolate Labrador
Poor, poor Bosco. He's had a really rough life. After 5 years of living with his family, they decided they didn't want to deal with his ear infection and instead surrendered him to HHS. He was then placed with another family who caused him to suffer severe pain and neglect. His second family did not treat an ear infection, causing him to shake his head so hard a painful hematoma developed and he required surgery. They again neglected to bring him back for a re-check and to have his stitches removed. For almost a month HHS employees struggled to get Bosco back from the family and get him the care he needs.
Bosco is now back in the care of HHS and is looking for the loving, caring family he deserves. He is very well trained, house broken, very calm and mild mannered. He's terrific with children and would be a fabulous family dog The only extra care Bosco needs is to be on a special diet so he doesn't develop ear infections again. Please consider giving Bosco a wonderful forever home!
Gerard
Male
Domestic Medium Hair
Poor Gerard was dumped outside our shelter in the middle of winter! We noticed him one day on our surveillance camera trying to get into the shelter in the middle of the night. Night after night he would come up to the door looking for somebody to let him in. One night, one of the staff members had a stake out and finally caught him! He was very scared at first, severely injured and in bad health from being outside so long. He is now so friendly and just so grateful to have been saved from the elements. He loves other cats, dogs, and people. All he wants is to be petted and give purrs. Please consider giving Gerard the home he so desperately deserves.
